My Story
I started this blog because, as a kid in the 2010s, I found no greater love than the pages of Teen Vogue, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar (Harper’s is still my #1). I reveled in the shimmering fabrics, the bold makeup looks, the skincare tips, the beauty secrets, the wellness advice from the hottest socialites, and the rich creative world emanating from their glossy pages, all topped off with the luxurious aroma of the most exquisite perfumes.
At the age of 11, inspired by the illustrious Tavi Gevinson’s (then 13y.o.) boldness in critiquing and assessing fashion on her own blog (omg, I was SO jealous), I started my first blog. My heart sang every time I saw something I wanted to wear or try but knew I had to get it on a budget. Now, almost two full decades later, I’m a pro at finding the skincare products that work and ensuring I’m the best-looking woman in any room I walk into. This quality didn’t go unnoticed; all my friends (and foes!) recognized me as THE go-to girl for solving any problem related to looks or design. Hint, hint: I still am.
When I was 15, I worked as a social media intern for a local insurance company, where I learned all the ins and outs of running a blog and reaching readers on social media. Now, I want to share my decades-worth of knowledge with the world. Through my personal experiences and extensive research, I created this platform to share my journey and help others live a life that looks beautiful and feels even better.
